Admissions

Taking the next step for your teen is not easy. Short-term rehabilitation programs are often an important beginning, but they may not provide enough time to support lasting recovery.

Woodhaven Recovery offers extended residential care for adolescent boys who need more time, more structure, and more support as they build a stable life in recovery.

Why Woodhaven?

Adolescence and early recovery are both difficult. Navigating them at the same time often requires more than a short stay and a discharge plan.

At Woodhaven, recovery is not a program within the program. It is woven into everything we do. Residents benefit from daily structure that integrates recovery principles, academic continuity, clinical engagement, family involvement, recreation, and intentional planning for what comes next.

Take the Next Step

If you are exploring the next steps, we encourage you to reach out.

At Woodhaven, a co-founder is part of every admissions call. We understand from our own experience how difficult and important this decision can be.

Is Woodhaven the Right Fit?

Woodhaven is designed for adolescent boys who are:

  • Transitioning from inpatient treatment

  • In early recovery and in need of continued structure

  • Able to engage in high school academic coursework

  • Working toward greater independence and personal responsibility

What Happens Next?

We keep the admissions process clear and straightforward.

It begins with a conversation. We take time to explain our program and understand your loved one's history, current needs, and goals. From there, we consult with his clinical team to determine whether Woodhaven is the right fit.

When it is, we work closely with the teen, his treatment providers, and his family to coordinate a thoughtful transition.

While you consider next steps, we invite you to read Beyond The Shadow, reflections on recovery, written by a parent who walked a similar path.
